Synopsis of The Dirt

Rapper Machine Gun Kelly has joined the Motley Crue biopic "The Dirt" as Tommy Lee, one of the founders, and Douglas Booth will play Nikki Sixx, another founder. Directed by "Jackass" director Jeff Tremaine, written by Rich Wilkes ("XXX"), Tom Kapinos ("Lucifer") and Amanda Adelson, produced and distributed by Netflix. The film is based on the autobiography "The Dirt: ConfessionsoftheWorld'sMostNotoriousRockBand" and focuses on the rise of the heavy metal band in the 1980s. The Motley Crue Band was formed in Los Angeles in January 1981. Its members include bassist Nikki Sixx, drummer Tommy Lee, vocalist Vince Neil and guitarist Mick Mars. In November of the same year, the first album "TooFastf..." was released.
