Synopsis of The Informer

Peter (Joel Kinnaman) was once a shrewd and capable special forces soldier who was imprisoned due to an accident. Peter who was behind bars was told that he could get a chance to be released early, but in exchange, Peter must become FBI informants secretly assisted undercover agents sent by the Bureau of Investigation to bring down the gang boss. With his wife's safety at heart, Peter accepted the conditions offered by the FBI. Unexpectedly, not long after the mission was carried out, the undercover agent's identity was exposed and he was brutally killed. The gang boss asked Peter to compensate for the losses caused to the gang due to his mistakes, and further ordered him to return to prison, where he secretly conducted drug transactions. At the same time, Peter's actions also attracted the attention of the New York police. For a while, Peter was caught between three powerful forces, hovering on the edge of death every day.
