Synopsis of The Contact

A frustrated radio DJ Cha Hyun (played by Han Seok-kyu) is selflessly immersed in his work, completely ignoring the proactive confession of his female colleague Eun-hee (played by Choo Sang-mi), because he has been remembering his girlfriend who died in a car accident 6 years ago. Every time his girlfriend's beloved vinyl disc is broadcast on the radio, it will make him think about it and he can't help himself. Telemarketer Soo-hyun (played by Jeon Do-yeon) happened to be a witness to the car accident, so she remembered this sad blues song. She once had a man she loved deeply, but because he was her best friend's boyfriend, she could only carefully collect every bit of information about him and never show her feelings. It wasn't until they were getting ready to get married that she suddenly realized that the person she missed could not be retrieved. This emotional twists and turns also made her obsessed with work. Two equally sad people got to know each other through online chatting and confided in each other.
