Synopsis of Zatoichi on the Road
The bosses of Doyama and Shimozuma's family are at war with each other. Zatoichi (played by Shintaro Katsu), who is kept in the dark, is invited by Doshan to help him fight, and he kills three samurai from Shimozuma's family who come to provoke him along the way. Aichi, who lost his guide, went on the road alone. During this period, he rescued Miss Mizu (played by Shiho Fujimura) of Edo Narumi House who was bullied and hunted by samurai. Entrusted by the girl's dead grandfather, Aichi decided to escort Mizu back to Edo. Unexpectedly, Aku (played by Reiko Fujiwara), the wife of one of the three samurai, hates Zatoichi and tries every means to abduct Mizu. Ashi, who is trustworthy and righteous, does his best to protect Meijin. In the process, the two people, who have a huge gap in identity and status, gradually develop a good impression. Realizing the difference between him and the girl, Ah Shi restrained his emotions. When the journey gradually reaches its end, all conflicts are about to break out...
