Synopsis of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time

The film is adapted from the 2003 video game of the same name by Ubisoft Software. Fifteen years ago, the orphan Dastan (Jake Gyllenhaal) was adopted into the palace by the King of Persia for his bravery and bellicosity in the market. Fifteen years later, the grown-up Dastan went on an expedition with his two brothers and uncle (played by Ben Kingsley). They raided the holy city of Alamt and got the king's promise to marry him. Gemma Arterton) is betrothed to him. Dastan accidentally obtained the "Sands of Time" dagger that Princess Tamina tried her best to protect, but was framed for poisoning the old king and was forced to flee. In order to clear his name and ensure that the great Persian Empire would not fall into his hands, Dastan forced Princess Tamina to enter the infamous "Slave Valley" with him and sabotage the Amal chief (Alfred Mori).
