Synopsis of Moscow Does Not Believe in Tears

The film tells the story of a seventeen-year-old female worker, Katerina, who pretends to be the daughter of a professor because of her naivety and full of fantasy. She falls in love with Rudolf, a television cameraman, and becomes pregnant. Soon, Rudolf discovered the truth and abandoned Katerina. But Ka did not feel depressed. While raising her children, she studied hard and finally became the director of a large factory in Moscow sixteen years later. After that, Katerina met the welder Guosha and kept hiding her identity. After the truth was exposed again, Katerina, with the help of her girlfriends, finally ended her single life after some setbacks and gained the true happiness of a woman.
