Synopsis of General's Goblet
The story takes place during the Anti-Japanese War. The porcelain master Hao Maoting was betrayed by the traitor Tang Huatao. The Japanese learned that Hao Maoting had a Jun porcelain national treasure hidden in his home. Hao Maoting asked his daughter Hao Meizhen (Ping An) to escape with General Zun overnight, but Hao Maoting and his wife were killed by Japanese invaders Katayama Gangichi (Chun Yu Shanshan). Ding Hongde (played by Wang Hongxiang), a servant who was out on business, witnessed the misery of his employer. He had served the Hao family for many years, and his heart burst out with anger. Late at night, he protected Mei Zhen and went to the cemetery of Hao Maoting and his wife to pay homage. Unexpectedly, he was followed by Japanese agents lurking there. Hong De was captured alive by the Japanese in order to protect Mei Zhen, and General Zun also fell into the hands of the Japanese. Katayama Okaichi was not satisfied with getting the general bottle, he also wanted to get the formula for making Jun porcelain. So he designed to let Hong De go, and asked the beautiful agent Maruo Rinko to pretend to be a Chinese girl Bai Ling to rescue Hong De and try to gain his trust.
