Synopsis of gay chef
Masi (Javier Cámara) is a gay chef who runs a restaurant in Madrid. He has longed for recognition from the Michelin food review throughout his life. Seeing that this day is approaching, the unexpected death of his ex-wife disrupts everything. Two eccentric children move in, and a blond football star moves next door who is constantly flirting with him. They are pulled into a three-person relationship for no apparent reason, and the employees are constantly having trouble... ..Everyone seemed to be in unison, torturing him until he was unable to do anything. Can he have his cake and eat it too, not only getting the coveted Michelin star, but also winning the hearts of handsome men and the love of children? "Gay Chef" stepped on the hearty rhythm of flamenco dance, and knocked the oil, salt, sauce and vinegar bottles away as if the brakes failed, performing a lively Spanish ode to joy. The film won the Best Film Award at the 2009 Los Angeles Gay and Lesbian Film Festival, and was nominated for Best Film and Best Actor at the Goya Film Festival, which symbolizes Spain's highest honor.
