Synopsis of broken beat
SellWalker (played by Blair Underwood) is the incarnation of DefJam founder Russell Simmons in the film. The film was directed by Michael Schultz, with Simmons serving as co-producer and plot consultant. He also guest-starred in the film as a bar owner named Crocket.
