Synopsis of Assassination

The story takes place in the 1930s, when the iron hoofs of Japanese imperialism resounded across East Asian countries. In the turbulent era, one legend after another was staged. In China, Yeom Seok-jin (played by Lee Jung-jae), the captain of the bureau serving in the Korean provisional government, released the Independence Army sniper An Wo-yun (played by Jun Ji-hyun) who was sentenced to death from prison, and then brought in explosives expert Huang Deok-san (played by Jun Ji-hyun). Choi Deok-moon (played by Cui Dewen) and "Quick-fire Cannon" Qiu Sangwo (played by Zhao Zhenxiong), a graduate of Xinxing Military Academy, secretly ordered the three to assassinate the commander of the North Korean garrison and the traitors in their own country. The dangerous operation began, but Japan quickly received information about the assassination mission. In a ten-mile foreign arena where wild snakes dance wildly, exciting and conspiracy-filled contests alternately unfold, and this is also a thrilling showdown about the fate of the nation... The film won the Best Film Award at the 36th Korean Blue Dragon Awards in 2015.
