Synopsis of American Son
Based on the critically acclaimed Broadway play, it tells the story of Kendra Ellis-Conner (Emmy nominee Kerry Washington), the mother of a missing teenager in South Florida. In the state police station, she was trying to tell the police about her scattered memories. Steven Pasquale, Jeremy Jordan and Lee Yoo-jin also reprise their roles in the adaptation. The series presents four different perspectives to the audience, and also shows the unique journey of an interracial couple raising a mixed-race son.
