Synopsis of My Beautiful Laundrette

The story takes place in London, a bustling metropolis. Omanisa (Gordon Warnecke) is a handsome Pakistani young man who opened a small laundry with the help of his uncle and made a living. The uncle was very satisfied with Omanisa's diligence and honesty, and felt that he was a reliable man, so he began to help him arrange a wife. Of course, in the uncle's heart, his daughter was the best candidate to become Omanisa's wife. Good candidate. Johnny (Daniel Day-Lewis) is Omanisa's college classmate. When he learned that his friend was running a laundry, Johnny volunteered to help. Unlike Omanisa, Johnny has a flamboyant and unruly personality, but strangely, the two men get along quite well when they get together. As time went by, a feeling that went beyond friendship was born between them.
