Synopsis of Dreamscape

The President of the United States was tortured by his conscience and often dreamed of the tragic scene after a nuclear war. He was under such great mental pressure that he wanted to negotiate with the Soviet Union to abolish nuclear weapons. FBI Director Bob wants to assassinate the president in order to maintain America's nuclear superiority. At the same time, psychologist Paul is working on a method that allows therapists to enter patients' dreams to guide them to overcome nightmares and treat sleep disorders. This technology is becoming more and more mature, so much so that the protagonist Alexei can enter the dreams of others with just his thoughts. Finally, in the president's dream of the ruins of nuclear war, the president, the assassin Tommy and the protagonist Alexi fought fiercely. Of course, in the end, good triumphed over evil. Both Tommy and Bob are killed in their dreams. In this movie, a common "law" of the later virtual reality genre appeared: if a character is killed in the virtual world, he will also die in reality. Although the later online virtual world was different from the controllable dream world, it also inherited this "law". The scenes in "Dreamland" are very grand, and have the absurd and counter-logical color of dreams themselves, forming an ever-changing landscape of time and space.
