Synopsis of Free!

In elementary school, four members of the swimming club won the championship in the pre-graduation swimming competition. After that, they graduated and went abroad, and the four of them went their separate ways. Time has passed, Nanase Haruka (voiced by Shimazaki Nobunaga) and his good friend Tachibana Makoto (voiced by Suzuki Tatsuo) who were studying at Iwatobi High School have entered the second year of high school. They met Hazuki Nagisa (voiced by Dai Naga Tsubasa), one of the former members of the swimming club. Reunion. The three of them recalled their elementary school days and agreed to go to the former swimming pool. In the abandoned swimming pool, they unexpectedly met Rin Matsuoka (voiced by Mamoru Miyano) who had returned home. Unexpectedly, Rin, his former comrade in arms, changed his temperament and challenged Haruka, but Haruka lost to him. Haruka, Makoto and Nagisa decided to set up a swimming club. After many efforts, they finally recruited new member Ryuzaki Rei (voiced by Daisuke Hirakawa). They aimed at the county competition championship and conducted intense training. On the other hand, the swimming club of Samekara Academy where Rin belongs is also preparing for the competition. They agreed to compete on the field. The swimming club, full of passion and vitality, started a Free! story about friendship and youth this summer.
