Synopsis of Stonewall
Who would have thought that a few cross-dressing men would promote a movement for equal rights for homosexuals? In the 1960s, the police often visited the "Stonewall Bar", a small cross-dressing show bar in New York's Greenwich Village, to harass, behave and extort. During a dispute with the police, the people at the Stonewall Bar finally had enough and resisted. In the narration of LaMiranda (also known as Hector - a frequent visitor to the Stonewall Bar), the film ushered in the fateful moment of 1969. Matty Dean is a handsome "angry" young man who is jealous of everyone and falls in love with LaMiranda at first sight. Bostonia is a mother-level cross-dressing queen and mentor. His lover Vinnie is the owner of the "Stonewall Bar", a "hiding in the closet" and quiet person, but it was he who became suffocated by the pressure. His tragic reaction ignited the fuse of this resistance movement.
