Synopsis of Missing

According to legend, there is a "barrier" on the top of a mountain in Sai Kung, a mysterious alien space similar to the Bermuda Triangle, which has caused many hikers to disappear mysteriously... The police sergeant disappeared after hiking alone on the mountain, and his daughter, a social worker, disappeared. He was still grudged and insisted on finding the truth, but to no avail for many years. When he disappeared for seven years, a crazy hiking supplies shop owner suddenly claimed that he had picked up the police chief's warrant card at the boundary of the mountain! The female social worker followed the legend of the enchantment and determined to find her father, but strange things happened one after another. The film is adapted from a local online novel that has been viewed over a million times, and explores the most mysterious enchantment legend in Hong Kong. The familiar scenes of Sai Kung hills and old public housing estates are blended into Hong Kong's urban murders, which is chilling.
