Synopsis of Shaolin Rescuers
This film is a 1979 kung fu film produced by Chang Cheh and screenwriter Ni Kuang. It tells the story of Hong Xiguan (played by Bai Biao) who is hunted down by Gao Jinzhong (played by Lu Feng), a martial arts scum who defected to the Qing court, and is seriously injured. The urban hero Zhu Cai (played by Sun Jian) , Chen Aquan (played by Luo Mang), and Liang Tianbao (played by Guo Zhui) arranged for Hong to hide in a tofu shop and bought him medicine to treat his injuries. Gao Jinzhong found out where Hong was hiding and secretly ordered his men to spread their intelligence in order to capture Hong in one fell swoop...
