Synopsis of Four Weddings and a Funeral

Although Charles (Hugh Grant) is a frequent guest at weddings, he has inexplicable doubts about getting married. At a certain country wedding, he fell in love with the American girl Carrie (Andie MacDowell) at first sight. Regardless of his friends' gossip about her, he spent a wonderful night with her. The next day, Carrie didn't say a word. Back in the United States, Charles was disturbed. Two months later, the two met again at a wedding in London. Kerry was about to get married, but under her initiative, the two spent the night together again. Another month, Charles received a wedding invitation from Kerry. When choosing gifts, he met Kerry again. She told him about her romantic history, which made Charles want to propose to her.
