Synopsis of 'Round Midnight

Turner (Dexter Gordon) was once a very famous saxophone player. Now, as an elderly man, he hides in high-end New York nightclubs and plays for the guests who come to entertain themselves. Unable to bear the neglect, Turner eventually left the nightclub and headed to Paris, where he joined the first group of black musicians, which quickly became famous after several very successful performances. Francis (François Cluzet) is a poor advertising designer. He was deeply attracted by Turner's performance. By chance, the two met. Francis was shocked to find that Turner had almost no ability to take care of himself in life, and was always deceived by bad women. Therefore, Francis rented a small apartment for Turner and took care of his daily life there.
