Synopsis of The Best Plan Is No Plan

Ma Weixiong (Shen Zhenxuan) is a screenwriter. For a long time, he and his girlfriend Bai Meigui (Zhuang Simin) have lived a life of disparity in status, which makes Ma Weixiong, who is always at the bottom of the food chain, miserable. One day, Bai Meihua's sister Bai Juhua (Lian Shiya) appeared in front of Ma Weixiong, rekindling the impulse and passion in his heart. Chen Yongsheng (played by Zhang Jiansheng) met the stunningly beautiful Miss Pan (played by Ni Chenxi) in a nightclub.
