Synopsis of Confidence

Jack (Edward Burns) is a skilled liar. Coupled with his handsome appearance, he has been successful in deceiving many times. On this day, Jack and his friends got an idea from accountant Winston (Dustin Hoffman). They pretended to be an art group and easily defrauded Winston of $5 million. Unexpectedly, after Jack succeeded, he also attracted all kinds of bad friends to share a piece of the pie, and the 5 million US dollars was quickly divided up. Bad things happened one after another. The accountant who was deceived, Winston, turned out to be a leader of the local mafia. When he learned that he had been deceived, he became furious and sent someone to fix Jack severely.
