Synopsis of The Defenders

"The Defenders" (English: Marvel's The Defenders, or simply: The Defenders) is an online mini-TV series based on the Marvel Comics team of super heroes of the same name scheduled to be launched by Netflix in the United States. It was developed by Douglas Petrie and Marco Ramirez. The series is set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and is connected to the plot of the Marvel Cinematic Universe movie series. It is the climax of the Marvel Cinematic Universe TV series. The miniseries is produced by Marvel Television and ABC Studios, with Ramirez serving as executive producer. The story takes place a few months after the story of "Daredevil" season 2 and a month after the story of "Iron Fist". The vigilantes living all over New York - Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke... Cage and Iron Fist began to join forces to form a team of super heroes to fight against the oncoming evil forces of the Hand.
