Synopsis of big sur

The movie "Big Sur" is adapted from Kerouac's novel of the same name, in which Kerouac recounts his three trips to a cabin located in Big Sur, California. When Kerouac first went to the cabin alone, he longed for a life of seclusion and independence. As a successful author, Kerouac received unimaginable fame and unlimited media attention, but all this was too much for him to bear. He became tired of living like this and decided to return to San Francisco to reunite with his old friends, which also included other poets and writers. Once, he and his friends returned to his hometown for the weekend and got drunk in a cabin. Later, one of his friends introduced his lover Billie to him. After a week of ups and downs, Jack and Billie decide to take Billie's son Elliot, along with another couple, back to their cabin in Big Sur.
