Synopsis of Citadel

The young couple Tommy (Aneurin Barnard) and Joanna (Amy Shiels) live in an old apartment. A new life is about to be born. The couple are immersed in smiling and sweet happiness. Unexpectedly, their lives were soon destroyed. Tommy watched helplessly as his wife was attacked by three street gangsters in the corridor. Although the child saved his life, Joanna fell into a coma and never woke up. Tommy, who suffered huge physical and mental trauma, traveled between home and the hospital. While raising his baby Elsa alone, he also had to work hard to overcome the great fear brought to him by the tragedy. In the chaos, it seemed as if a malicious villain was approaching Tommy and his son, threatening Elsa's life. Is it fantasy? Or is it true? Tommy had mountains that he had to climb and conquer... The film won the Best Film Award and the Best European Fantasy Film Award at the 2012 Neuchâtel International Fantasy Film Festival.
