Synopsis of Child's Play

The first poster of the rebooted version of "The Return of the Ghost" is released, and the sinister doll Chucky returns in a brand new way The new version of "The Return of the Ghost" directed by Lars Klevberg, the director of "The Kid" has released its first poster. The classic murderous doll Chucky will make a brand new return. The film stars "Ingrid Goes West"'s Aubrey Plaza and "Atlanta"'s Brian Tyree Henry and started filming in Vancouver this week. In the new version, the mother played by Plaza gives her son a doll as a birthday gift, but has no idea of the doll's sinister nature. The film is based on the 1988 original, but the series' screenwriter Don Mancini and producer David Kirschner were not involved in this new version. In fact, the two are currently working on more original "Butterfly Lovers" movies and potential shows. This new version of "The Return of the Ghost" launched by MGM will obviously be different from the well-known original Chucky and compete with the latter.
