Synopsis of Brawl in Cell Block 99

Bradley Thomas, a former boxer and drug dealer, was forced to return to his old business due to family livelihood. Seeing that his life was back on track, he was about to be imprisoned for a deal that went wrong. At the same time, faced with threats from his previous family against his wife and daughter, what kind of struggle and resistance will Bradley, who is behind bars, carry out? The film was directed by S. Craig Zahler. It was screened at the 74th Venice Film Festival as a non-competition film and was nominated for the Audience Choice Award in the "Midnight Madness" section of the 42nd Toronto International Film Festival. It won the 44th Saturn Award for Best Thriller Film, and starring Vince Vaughn was nominated for Best Actor at the same Saturn Award.
