Synopsis of Holy Blood

A naked young man squatted on a tree trunk by the window indoors, his eyes dull. He is Fenyx (played by Axel Jodorowsky), a patient imprisoned in a mental hospital. Fenix, who was frail and withdrawn since childhood, spent his childhood in a circus. His father Oga (Guy Stockwell) is a circus leader, and his mother Garcia (Blanca Guerra) is a trapeze artist. Garcia believes in fetishism, and the god she worships is a girl with a broken arm who was raped and killed by two brothers. At the place where she bled, people dug a pond to store water and built a church, named "Holy Blood". When the priest discovered that the so-called holy blood was just red paint water, he agreed with the local government to demolish the church. Garcia led the followers to resist. When Garcia found out that Ogao had committed adultery, Ogao took revenge and chopped off Garcia's arms with a throwing knife, cut his own pulse and committed suicide. Fenyx enters a mental hospital. At Garcia's instigation, Fenix escaped from the mental hospital and became Garcia's "magic hand".
