Synopsis of The Rope Curse

Wu Jiawei (played by Zou Chengen), who works in a television station, uses his expertise and his friend Aguai (played by Liu Guoshao) to shoot folklore and curiosity videos and share them on the Internet to earn advertising fees. He and his girlfriend Lin Shuyi (played by Xia Yuqiao) are about to get married. In order to raise funds for the wedding, he and Aguai team up to shoot a mysterious meat dumpling ceremony in a different place. But for some reason, they seemed to have violated some taboo. After the live broadcast, strange things happened to Jia Wei, Aguai and Shuyi one after another. Even the female anchor who was originally scheduled to participate in the live broadcast died in an accident in full view of the public. In the long night, white clothes fluttered, and the hunting of fierce ghosts began one after another. The constant occurrence of supernatural events has also touched Shuyi’s dark memories hidden deep in his heart...
