Synopsis of The Forest

Sarah Puth (Natalie Dormer) living in the United States has been restless in recent days. She has a twin sister Jesse (Natalie Dormer) working as a foreign teacher in Japan. However, Jesse's whereabouts suddenly disappeared. Sarah asked the Yamanashi Prefectural Police to help with the search. The final result was that Jesse may have entered the Aokigahara Forest, known as the "suicide resort", to commit suicide. Sarah never agreed with the police's speculation. She ignored her boyfriend's obstruction and embarked on a journey to Japan alone. She first came to the school where her sister taught, and after failing to investigate, she got on the train to Aokigahara Forest. Others' dissuasion could not stop Sarah, and she walked deeper into the forest. In this process, horrific and strange experiences occur alternately...
