Synopsis of Love On-Air

Shin Jin-ah (played by Min-jung Lee), a has-been singer and former member of the popular female idol group Purple, works as a DJ on a radio show to make ends meet. Because the listening ratings of the radio programs he hosted continued to decline, the program was facing the crisis of being cancelled. The high-spirited Jin Ah and the award-winning program producer Lee Jae-yi (Lee Jung-jin Jeong-jin Lee), who is obsessed with excellence, often clash due to their different personalities. Faced with sluggish listening ratings, the two have to work together in the friction to seek a turn for the better for the program. Jin'er, who has a strong personality and refuses to admit defeat, angrily took over the task of rewriting the program planning. The program was rearranged and the audience was invited to request songs for their loved ones, thus uncovering many touching stories. The warm tone caused the show's ratings to skyrocket and attracted much attention. Jane's life also began to undergo some changes and faced more challenges.
