Synopsis of Digimon: Digital Monsters

In 1999, due to the abnormal proliferation of data in the digital world, the connection between the digital world and the real world was disrupted. Accordingly, strange natural phenomena occurred on the earth: there was no rain in Southeast Asia and all ponds dried up; floods occurred in the Middle East due to continuous heavy rains; and the United States encountered the coldest winter in history. The 11-year-old boy Taichi Yagami (voiced by Yoshiko Fujita), and his companions Yamato Ishida (voiced by Yuto Kazama), Sora Takeuchi (voiced by Yuko Mizutani), Mitsuko Izumi (voiced by Ariumi Tengami), and Mimi Tatokawa (voiced by Ai Maeda) ), Kido Joe (voiced by Masami Kikuchi), and Takeshi Takaishi (voiced by Hiroko Konishi) participated in the summer camp together, but by accident they were mysteriously sent to a colorful digital world. There, they got partners called "Digimon". After entering the digital world, Taichi Yagami and his friends encountered the vicious monster Shellmon. When everyone was about to be caught, Taichi's Agumon suddenly evolved into Greymon and saved them. What is evolution all about? What exactly is the digital world? Countless mysteries appear in front of the selected children, and the wonderful adventure begins...
