The one-woman show "Fleabag" aroused widespread resonance with the story of an older woman's struggle and gave people infinite courage. The play was co-created by screenwriter and actress Phoebe Waller-Bridge and director Vicki Jones. It became an instant hit when it premiered at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2013; it was adapted into a BBC drama series of the same name in 2016.
