Synopsis of Roma boy

The communities inhabited by Gypsies in southern Italy are typical of poverty and chaos. The fourteen-year-old boy longs to grow up as soon as possible and be self-reliant like his elder brother. He smokes and drinks, and learns stealing skills from his brother. It doesn't matter if he can't read, but it is practical to recognize banknotes. When his brother was arrested, he intensified his efforts, stealing cars and breaking into houses.
