Synopsis of Presumed Innocent

Rusty (Harrison Ford) worked in the prosecutor's office for many years and eventually became the chief prosecutor. One day, Assistant Prosecutor Caroline (Greta Scacchi) appeared next to Rusty and took the initiative to throw herself into his arms. It turns out that Caroline has been coveting the position of Rasdy's chief prosecutor for a long time. She hopes to help Rasdy take the position of director of the Supervision Office, so that she can benefit from it. Unexpectedly, Rusty was not an ambitious person and had no interest in climbing to the top of power. After learning that the plan failed, Caroline left Rusty decisively. However, one day, Rusty suddenly received the news that Caroline had been murdered. What made him incredible was that all the evidence at the murder scene accused Rusty of being the culprit.
