Synopsis of Silkwood

This film is adapted from a true story. It tells the story of a female worker working at a nuclear power plant in the late 1960s who felt the unreasonable working system and environment. She began to participate in trade union activities and collected information on how the nuclear power plant endangers public safety. The evidence made her co-workers stay away from her. Finally, just when she decided to hand over the information to reporters, she died mysteriously.
