Synopsis of Fine Snow

With the advent of a new era, the once-prominent Makoka family in Kyoto has slowly begun to decline, but the four daughters in the family are still a beautiful scenery in the city. The eldest sister Tsuruko (played by Keiko Kishi) sticks to the ancestral home and always maintains the reputation of the family; the second sister Sachiko (played by Ryoko Sakuma) has a strong personality, which makes the son-in-law Sadanosuke (played by Koji Ishizaka) pale in comparison; the youngest Yukiko (played by Yoshinaga) The fourth child, Taeko (played by Sayuri), is gentle and virtuous, but has always been undecided about her marriage; the fourth child, Taeko (played by Yuko Furukawa), has an open personality and is a relatively Westernized girl.
