Synopsis of Cake

In a terrible car accident, Claire (Jennifer Aniston) not only lost her appearance, but also lost her beloved son. Afterwards, Claire, who was trapped in despair and pain and unable to extricate herself, suffered from chronic pain disorder. In order to fight against the disease, Claire came to the Chronic Pain Club and gained the confidence and hope to live through mutual communication and encouragement with the patients. Nina (Anna Kendrick) is a member of the club. One day, the news of her suicide shocked Claire. Claire tried every means to find the truth about Nina's suicide, and finally fell into the hallucination of talking to Nina and couldn't extricate herself. At the same time, Nina's husband Roy (played by Sam Worthington) also appeared in Claire's home. Beside him, Claire was involved in one whirlpool after another.
