Synopsis of Waves

Lucas Hedges, Sterling K. Brown, Kevin Harrison Jr. ("Mudbound", "The Night Comes"), Taylor Russell ("7 Days", "Lost in Space") join A24 The new music-themed film "Waves" created by the film, written and directed by Terry Edward Schaltz ("The Visit" and "Crisia"), will start filming next month in Florida. It tells the story of two young lovers growing up and falling in love in an emotional minefield. It has been described as "a dramatic musical with a new perspective and a vibrant and touching ode to contemporary teenage life." The film is synchronized almost entirely to music, combining some iconic contemporary songs with an original score by Oscar winners Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross (The Social Network, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo).
