Synopsis of The Crossing

"The Crossing" was jointly developed by Dan Dworkin, Jay Beattie and Jason Reed. It tells the story of a group of refugees whose country was destroyed by war and came to a small town in the United States to seek asylum. However... the "country" mentioned by these people refers to the United States. The war is 250 years in the future. Jude, a local police chief with a past, Emma, a federal agent, and a mother looking for her missing refugee daughter, will all be involved in a surprising conspiracy at the same time. He Jiabei/Sandrine Holt plays Emma Peralta, a federal customs agent who works directly and always maintains a keen sense of the surrounding environment, so that she can always control chaotic situations. Emma is skeptical of stories about refugees and time travel. Steve Zahn plays Sheriff Jude and Rick Gomez plays Deputy Sheriff Nestor.
