Synopsis of Mortdecai

On the surface, Charlie (played by Johnny Depp) is a successful and proud art dealer. His wife Joanna (played by Gwyneth Paltrow) sits at home, and his life is easy. Like a fish in water. However, he has an unknown secret. Whenever night falls, Charlie will transform into a thief who specializes in stealing art. This dual identity has been around for a long time, but has never been revealed. One day, a painter who specializes in restoring Goya's works died for no apparent reason. The sky-high-priced artwork in his hands mysteriously disappeared. The authorities offered a huge reward in the hope of recovering the painting. The series of "zeroes" behind the reward made Charlie feel excited. Then he and his partner embarked on a journey full of excitement and danger. While dealing with a series of weirdos, Charlie also has to be wary of a man named Martland (Ewan McGregor), because he is not only an agent of the British MI5, but also a long-standing love rival with Charlie.
