Garden of Eden Eden

Garden of Eden Eden

Synopsis of Garden of Eden

The film chronicles the French electronic dance music boom of the 1990s. Electronic dance music was the rock, jazz and punk of that era. Whatever you think of electronic dance music, it reminds us of creative genius or astonishing fame, but also of nights lost and abandoned. It's difficult to capture this ethos of electronic dance music on film, but writer-director Mia Hansen-Løve has found an ideal way to blend electronic dance music and film. The film's protagonist, teenager Paul, is exposed to underground dance music in Paris. But slowly he began to like emotional soul music, and he and his friends formed a DJ group called Cheers. Two of his other friends also formed a group and took a strange name-DaftPunk. These young musicians began to devote themselves crazily to their favorite music life day and night. They passionately released their madness and love for music. There were drugs and sex in their lives. Paul hooks up with an American girl played by Greta Gerwig. They seem to be beautiful but may be very short-lived.
