Synopsis of Hardwired

In the dark night, in a narrow alley, a man was chased to a secluded corner and found a female beggar looking at him with strange eyes. Then, when the man faced the probe, his eye sockets suddenly became bloodshot, and he wailed and fell unconscious. In the hospital, because the man's social insurance had expired, he was sent to the mysterious Ward F under the instruction of Dr. Stickler (Hiro Kanagawa). Here, a grieving woman met her dying husband Luke (Cuba Gooding Jr.), who was injured in a car accident. Soon, Luke's pregnant wife passed away, which left him heartbroken. In order to find out the truth, he began to recall and retrieved a series of archives such as text messages, blogs, emails, etc., and slowly discovered the clues. It turned out that his brain was actually implanted with a chip from the Hexx company, which was using his life to do ulterior motives.
