Synopsis of The 317th Platoon
In 1954, during the last days of the French army in Southeast Asia, a small detachment consisting of 41 Laotians and 4 Frenchmen retreated from the front line. After experiencing multiple attacks such as ambushes, disease, and fatigue, the number of members was decreasing. When the remaining soldiers finally returned to the camp, the camp had been overrun by enemy forces and all members of the squad were killed.
