Synopsis of Paradise Kiss

In order not to disappoint her mother, Murasaki Hayasaka (played by Keiko Kitagawa), who is studying at the prestigious private Kiei Academy, has been studying hard with the goal of going to a prestigious university since she was a child. However, her studies have been deteriorating since she met a handsome classmate in high school. On this day, Zi was accosted by a strangely dressed young man on the street. He accidentally fainted while escaping and was taken into an underground bar. This is the studio of the costume science students of Yazawa Art Academy. The peers here seem to live in a completely different world from Zi. They dress brightly and ahead of schedule, and behave in a unique way in their daily lives, which makes Zi Bei feel uncomfortable. In order to prepare for the upcoming design competition, a group of people led by Koizumi Joji (played by Mukai Ri) couldn't help but pull Zi in as a model. From the initial resistance and disgust, Zi gradually integrated into this group of lovely young people... This film is adapted from the manga of the same name by Ai Yazawa.
