Synopsis of Striptease

Erin Grant (Demi Moore) is a single mother who lost custody of her daughter because she had no stable job and income. Eileen, who loves her daughter deeply, does not want to leave her daughter to her rogue ex-husband Darrell Grant (Robert Patrick), so she can only go to a Florida bar every night to dance striptease to make money in order to fight for the right to adopt her. The lustful Congressman David Dilbeck (Burt Reynolds) is one of the guests who is obsessed with her. One night, Erin was pestered by a drunkard. David stepped forward and beat the drunkard with a bottle. However, this scene was filmed by one of Irene's fans. Not only was David's identity exposed, but David also began to suffer malicious blackmail from him. However, not long after, the blackmailer was murdered and drowned in a pond. Detective Garcia (Armand Assante) was ordered to investigate the case. During the investigation, a series of unexpected events also followed.
