Synopsis of Eternal Moment
The film is divided into three chapters, showing the different lives of Yang Zheng (played by Li Yapeng) and Wenhui (played by Xu Jinglei) 12 years later. Chapter 1: Yang Zheng and Wen Hui have been married in Beijing for many years. Although their material life has allowed Yang Zheng to fulfill his promise to Wen Hui, they have drifted apart spiritually. Finally, after a party, Yang Zheng ran away from home for the first time... Chapter 2: Everyone organized a class reunion in Shanghai. The organizer invited car mechanic Yang Zheng and saleswoman Wen Hui respectively. The former is divorcing his ex-wife, while the latter is raising twin sons alone. At the party, encouraged by their classmates, they fell in love with each other again... Chapter 3: Late at night, Yang Zheng received an overseas call from Wen Hui. She cried and sang happy birthday on the phone, which made Yang Zheng determined to come to France to find him. However, at Bordeaux Station, Yang Zheng suddenly discovered that Wenhui was not picking him up, but a young girl. They were enjoying wine in the vineyard, but Yang Zheng gradually discovered the source of Wenhui's pain... This film is the sequel to the movie version of the 1998 TV series, created by the original cast. Faye Wong and Eason Chan sang "Because of Love".
