Synopsis of A Fool

Farmer Tiaozi (played by Chen Jianbin) met a fool (played by Jin Shijia) begging for food in the town, and the fool followed him back home. I posted a missing person notice, and soon someone claimed the fool. Immediately afterwards, family members claiming to be fools appeared one after another, saying that they had sold the fool through a note. Trouble ensues. He realizes that he has been deceived but is speechless. He cannot understand how a good thing can turn into a bad thing. He began to use the simplest method of a farmer to prove his innocence. And in order to find fools, he became another fool who pestered others everywhere... The film is adapted from the short story "Running Moonlight" and is Chen Jianbin's debut film written, directed and starred.
