Synopsis of Christine

It is adapted from the true story of the famous American news anchor Christine Chubbuck in 1974. The 29-year-old Christine (Rebecca Hall) is both beautiful and intelligent, and is the leading female anchor at the time. But in the 1970s, it was not easy for outstanding career-oriented women to gain recognition in society and the workplace. Coupled with love and family problems, Christine was already under tremendous pressure. Television stations depend on ratings and order news programs to include more tidbits and explosive stories.
