Synopsis of Babylon A.D.

The film is adapted from Maurice G. Dantec's best-selling novel "Babylon Babies". In the future world, with the rapid development of science and technology, a large number of high-tech robots are put into use, providing convenience to mankind and replacing a large number of labor forces. Soon the number of robots was as large as that of humans, and the world became a symbiotic group of machines and humans. Toorop (Vin Diesel) is a retired veteran who has no martial arts skills but has nothing to do all day long. He changed his job and became a paid mercenary, specializing in accepting various escort missions. One day, he accepted a new task: accompanied by Sister Rebecca (Michelle Yeoh), escorted a mysterious woman across Eurasia. However, he didn't know that the other party had some kind of terrible virus, which was powerful enough to destroy the whole world.
