Synopsis of The Snowman

"The Snowman" is adapted from the best-selling novel of the same name published by Norwegian writer Jo Nesbo in 2007. This book is his seventh novel with the protagonist Harry Hole, an Oslo detective. The story mainly tells that while Harry was investigating the disappearance of a young mother, he discovered a mysterious snowman appeared in the victim's yard, and it was also wearing a pink scarf around its neck that the children gave to the mother as a Christmas gift. From this, Harry dug up a series of old cases with the same situation, and a serial murderer who always liked to commit crimes when the first snow fell surfaced... "The Snowman" will be jointly produced by Universal and Working Title. If the film responds well, JoNesbo's other six Detective Harry novels will also have the opportunity to appear on the big screen.
